  1. Halloween Manicure — Bloody Fangs

    During my transition from long oval shape to short square shape, I decided to and play around with different shapes and sizes. As a result I came up with a very extreme nail design for Halloween.

  2. Pink French with Flower Pattern

    This time I was in the mood to do stamping. I have to admit that you should be patient enough to master stamping technique. Even I consider myself as a beginner in this subject.

    I picked the flower pattern from m73 stamping plate by Konad. This image is too small to cover the whole surface of my nails, that’s why I came up with the idea to paint my tips pink. I used W7 — 78 Fuchsia to create square french manicure with the straight tip line. However, I had to apply three coats to cover up the translucent black flower pattern.

  3. Half Moon Lime and Brown Manicure

    For this extremely unusual version of the half-moon manicure (also known as ‘reversed french mani’) I applied two coats of lime nail polish Barbara Daly — Zest. Then I carefully painted two coats of pastel brown lacquer by OPI — NL S46 Java Mauve-A, leaving the half-moons unpainted. It’s absolutely up to you which method do you prefer to achieve this effect. Since I find stickers kind of unreliable, I used a thin nail art brush to outline my half-moon curves, and then with an ordinary nail polish brush I painted my nails upwards from the outlines.   4. Cute Pastel Dots

  5. Yellow and Brown Water Marbling

    The primordial idea of this design was to create something similar to cake topping. However, because of the shade of yellow polish, the result reminds me more of an old banana. Some people say that this looks creepy or scary, but I regard it as a compliment. (more…)
